Overview: Office Clerk needed to assist in local municipality tax collector’s office in performing all general clerical office duties, including answering the phone in a professional and friendly manner, opening mail and providing all general clerical office assistance to the staff. Must have previous experience answering phones, performing general office duties and basic computer skills. This is an ideal entry-level office clerk opportunity for experienced retail or customer service representative.
- Greet and direct incoming visitors
- Perform general office duties, including filing, copying, processing monetary transactions
- Provide clerical assistance to the administrative staff
Qualifications: Must be high-energy, outgoing and enjoy working with and helping people. Must have experience in customer service and experience handling cash in retail or banking institution is strongly preferred.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am– 5pm. Full time temporary position(potential permanent placement).
Pay rate $11/hour
